“Regenerative” has become one of those words that means everything and nothing. So here’s what it specifically means in our supply chain, in plain terms.
It means rotating crops year on year so soil never gets exhausted. It means intercropping with nitrogen-fixing companions instead of reaching for synthetic fertiliser. It means leaving land fallow when it needs to rest, even when the spreadsheet says otherwise.
It is slower. It is more expensive in the short term. And it is the only honest way we know to grow food that we want our children to grow up eating.
